Psalm 116-118; 1 Corinthians 2

From today's Bible reading:

9:35 AM Psalm 116:
I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy.
Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
9:36 AM Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; our God is merciful.
The LORD preserves the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me.
9:37 AM I believed, even when I spoke, "I am greatly afflicted"; I said in my alarm, "All mankind are liars."
9:38 AM What shall I render to the LORD for all his benefits to me?
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

9:39 AM Psalm 117:
Praise the LORD, all nations! Extol him, all peoples!
For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!

9:40 AM
Psalm 118:
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!
Let those who fear the LORD say, "His steadfast love endures forever."
9:41 AM It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
9:42 AM The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.
The right hand of the LORD does valiantly,
I shall not die, but I shall live, and recount the deeds of the LORD.
The LORD has disciplined me severely, but he has not given me over to death.
9:44 AM This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
9:46 AM Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We bless you from the house of the LORD.

9:47 AM 1 Corinthians 2:
And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom.
I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
9:48 AM my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power
9:49 AM the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
9:50 AM The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one.
who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?
we have the mind of Christ.
